I assume you mean this for the copy-dependencies goal? Otherwise the copy one 
takes the configuration directly so it's not needed. File a JIRA at 
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MOJO and put the plugin name in the subject.

Can scope of dependencies be specified? For example, I would like to copy only 
test dependencies or provided...
