I think we should actually recommend sftp. It is designed for ssh2,
and doesn't rely on external command executions so should be faster
and more portable.

scp is not a standard (it is basically rcp over ssh), and I'm pretty
sure openssh just funnels it into the sftp subsystem anyway.

I'd go with what works best :)
