No, I started Maven from the command line. According to Process Explorer the javadoc tool is started via CMD.EXE /X /C c:\Programme\Java\jdk1.5.0\jre\..\bin\javadoc.exe @options @files I just paused the javadoc process and had a look into the two files "files" and "options". It seems Maven doesn't add the contents of MAVEN_OPTS into the "options" file; I don't see the "-Xmx256m" flag... Is this a bug or a feature?
