My initial response was wrong... I should have said, the ibiblio repo does not host snapsots.
You will need to access this plugin from: http://snapshots.maven.codehaus.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-compiler-plugin/2.0.1-SNAPSHOT/ I sent instructions in an email just a few minutes ago about how to add this repository to your pom.xml.
