Dear List, I recently encountered an unexpected behaviour in the Eclipse plug-in for M2.
I was running a JUnit TestCase in debug mode, and when I got to one of the org.hibernate.* classes, I got the "Source Not Found" screen. So far so good. When I clicked the "Attach Source..." button and selected the src directory in my local installation of Hibernate, I was presented with a message dialog titled "Install Source Bundle" with the message "Install source bundle to C:\Documents and Settings\P002228\.m2\repository\org\hibernate\hibernate\3.0.5 \hibernate-3.0.5-sources.jar" I looked through the Ibiblio repository directory for Hibernate 3.0.5 (http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/org/hibernate/hibernate/3.0.5/), but did not see any entry for hibernate-3.0.5-sources.jar. These leads to a number of questions: 1) Is this expected behaviour for either Maven2 or the Eclipse plugin? If so, is this documented somewhere (no, www.google.com doesn't count)? 2) Is there a "sources" repository that I can add to my pom.xml and/or settings.xml for retrieving source dependencies? 3) Is there any configuration that is necessary to support source dependencies (other than adding a dependency with a "sources" classifier)? Thanks, Ian It's better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you are not Ian D.
