Hooking into plugin execution in M2

Hi guys,

In short, when I run 'mvn clean' in M2, I'd like to delete one of my own 
directories.

Clean is a plugin, and not a lifecycle phase. (I just figured how to 
hook into lifecycle phase!).

How do I do it?
