I have two XML configuration files for Castor JDO inside src/main/resources/
One is mapping.xml which specifies the mappings from XML messages to fields in the Java objects The other is jdo-conf.xml which specifies the behaviour of JDO including how a connection is requested. In the main code, I'd like jdo-conf.xml to use the container's datasource but in test code I'd like it to use a JDBC connection string to acquire the connection. This works perfectly because I keep jdo-conf.xml in the src/main/resource/ and src/test/resource/ folders respectively for production code and unit test code. The mapping.xml file though should be the same for both production and test and ideally I don't copy it twice into the two resource folders (as this creates a management headache in source control every time we change the file). Should it go into src/main/java/ instead or is there another better way to manage this dependency? Thanks in advance for the help! -j --------------------------------------------------- Justin Fung [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sr. Analyst, Business Systems IT Banking Systems, e-Business HSBC Bank Canada http://www.hsbc.ca p: (604) 643-6605 f: (604) 643-6727 *************************************************************** This email may contain confidential information, and is intended only for the named recipient and may be privileged.
