I did this and when I first opened the projects I noticed that there was a now a project dependency and everything is compile.
However, I just checked again and the dependency isn't showing up but it is still compiling? What could make the project dependency disappear. I did try the "update src directory" in the m2 plugin trying to figure out what that did. BTW: I am still curious if you can add local dependencies.
