For the record, I've been using CC 2.5.0 for our Maven2 projects, and I've not had any issues. CC 2.5.0 runs M2 projects just like M1 or Ant projects, you just specify a <maven2> in the <schedule> (http://cruisecontrol.sourceforge.net/main/configxml.html#maven2).
