Yes, you're right! Sorry I didn't notice that.

However, the URL:

  https://username:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/...

Only gives me a 401, so the authentication using this kind of URL does
not seem to be supported.

Tried with "file" protocol as you suggested, and that worked.
