That is how I started out configuring my POM - it made no difference as
to the error messages I got. The only difference is that with your POM I
need to explicitly specify the assembly goal on the command line.
mvn clean package
vs.
mvn clean package assembly:assembly
It seems that my real problem is the how the moduleSets are specified or
perhaps a bug in Maven.
Is anybody successfully specifying moduleSets in their assembly xml? I
would love to hear from you and see your configuration.
