Maybe the 'downloadSources' parameter in the eclipse plugin
configuration in your pom is set to true.
If not, try using this command instead 'mvn eclipse:eclipse
-DdownloadSources=false'.
Anyway, the default is that the sources shouldn't be downloaded when you
do not set
the 'downloadSources' parameter to true because it defaults to false so
I don't think you should
resort to setting it to false from the command line.
