Hi, I currently have a patch for the xml-maven-plugin, which suggests the following: The plugin currently reads a set of files and transforms them. The result is stored in a different directoy. Currently there is no possibility to transform the name. The patch suggests to make the extension configurable.
IMO, name transformation is a general concept. For example, Ant does handle it in a quite generic way. Is there something in Maven that I might reuse?
