Good day to you, Rod,

The xfire-maven-plugin is in codehaus mojo-sandbox. So you either checkout
the source and build it, or use the snapshot version deployed

  <pluginRepository>
    <id>Codehaus Snapshots</id>
    <url>http://snapshots.repository.codehaus.org/</url>
    <snapshots>
      <enabled>true</enabled>
    </snapshots>
    <releases>
      <enabled>false</enabled>
    </releases>
  </pluginRepository>

See [1].

Cheers,
Franz
