Does this means that if I had 3rd party modules I would also need to
remove all <version> of the 3rd party modules?

It doesn't seem feasible.. :-(

It would've been a lot easier If I had a mechanism to restrict at
myproject's pom, which can also be overridden by any project that depend
on myproject. Any comments?
