I don't care if its spl, sp1, or sp10, none of those versions are in Central.
Additionally, <groupId>hibernate has moved to <groupId>org.hibernate. This is probably part of your problems, as I can see 3.2.4.sp1 is available under org.hibernate.hibernate: http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/hibernate/hibernate/ So update the groupId, and change the version to sp1 (not spl) and it should work.
