I tested kannel for smsgateway , wapgateway and push proxy gateway . Those modules are working fine for me . I used sms.conf for smsgateway , wap.conf wapgateway push.conf for ppg.
./bearerbox -v 0 sms.conf
./smsbox -v 1 sms.conf - foe smsgateway
./bearerbox -v 0 wap.conf
./wapbox -v 1 wap.conf - for wapgateway
./bearerbox -v 0 push.conf
./wapbox -v 1 push.conf --- for ppg
Actually , i don't have any doubts with kannel.
Now i wanna start mbuni - mmsc. for that there should be few configurations has to be done in kannel + mbuni. According to mbuni user guide , I reinstalled kannel with the mbuni patch . finally downloaded the mbuni source and configured it for mmsc. So now kannel and mbuni setup is completed.
Next step is doing the configurations for mmsc. as i mentioned in the prevous mails , i did the configurations for mbuni as the MMSC. core group , mbuni group, mms-vasp group, mmsproxy group configured.
So , this is what my basic requrement of having mbuni as MMSC. It sould work as a mmsc. obviously it is a MMSC.
I want to send mms messages :- mobile to mobile , mobile to e-mail , email to mobile , pc application to mobile , pc application to MMS server , mobile to MMS server, These are my requrement .
It's so clear mbuni is the solution. Its having all of that modules in action. mbuni , installing is easy . but configurations and testing is really difficult task.
Now i need to run mbuni as my MMSC.for that i found the modules like this.
./mmsrelay -v 0 mmsc.conf
./mmsproxy -v 0 mmsc.conf
on the kannel , ./bearerbox -v 0 push.conf
./smsbox -v 1 push.conf in action with mbuni. That all the configurations files are attched by my previuos mails.
The way I started the services are correct or not ?
Now i having major issues in testing the MMSC . I tested it with mmssend utility in mbuni source. It got function. but problem is that messages by some phones wont understand properly and by some phones wont delever.
Don't you have any third party developed mms interfaces for mbuni ? would you share that interfaces with the list ?
When we send a mms via the mbuni , first it sould go to the mmsrelay ....., am i correct ? if so , what would be the mms send url ? When we send a mms via an interface how we define the mms port in the post url ?
In kannel there is sms send url , like that do we have to use mms send url or something ?
Friends , i think you guy can understand how mush i have tried to solve my mbuni problems . but i'm still in trouble. I couldnt get it true yet.
