Hi Folks,
I installed kannel and mbuni on a RH 9 server that has a MultiTech Edge
modem. I have previously been using the MultiTech Edge modem to send and
receive SMS messages automatically, using perl scripts I wrote that directly
interact with the serial port sending the AT commands.
I would like to be able to do MMS messages however, so I installed kannel
and mbuni, trying to follow the directions in the user guide on the web site.
I got as far as being able to run a URL and send an SMS message with kannel. I
don't know if receiving SMS messages is working, or where they are going if
they are received. I did not get wapbox working, and I only just started to
figure out that I need that to get mbuni working.
Is there a standard set of example configs that will run a very basic
send-and-receive MMS setup, that I can copy and modify as needed ?
I need to work though my current setup and generate some more specific
questions to post here, with log files and etc attached. In addition to that,
is there anyone on the list who offers support for helping set up something
like this ? We could pay.
