I have started several games on and off. You are talking about two different things here.
MINA - Networking Library DarkStar - Game Server Environment The Darkstar provides (or was going to when I last looked at it) the clustering/management and a lot of the extra stuff. Mina is a very good library that I have used several times for different projects. My suggestion is: Use MINA if you want to write everything yourself (or find other libraries to do it). Use DarkStar if you want to use a system designed to handle the complex clustering and persistence issues yourself. Hope this helps -Andrew >-----Original Message----- >From: rana khaleel [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: 03 June 2008 11:11 >To: [email protected] >Subject: build multiplayer online game? > > > >I am just getting started with MINA, Has anyone worked with >this framework to build online game and is able to share >his/her experiences? >my email [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > >Do you recommend me to use DarKStar to build my game? >_________________________________________________________________ >جرّب بعض الخدمات الجديدة على الإنترنت في Windows Live >Ideas—إنها جديدة جدًا ولم يتم إصدارها رسميًا حتى الآن. >http://ideas.live.com >
