Hi there, I'm new to MINA and just wondering if anyone could advice me on the following: I have to implement an UDP server which will process text based data, I will process the txt based protocols with codec filters(straightforwrd).. well the thing is that my server will have a very high network latency, it has to perform very well on servicing large amounts of incomming datagrams, decoding them and forward them to a handler(s) in which my business logic is going to be executed (basically db inserts and publishing to an embedded activemq). I see that I will need a sort of threading model different than a single thread model here.. I read on the tutorial that threading model doesn't apply to datagram sockets, perhaps I misunderstood that.. What kind of thread models can I have for a Datagram server? How can I configure or design a pool of thread workers that can handle the business logic with my requirements? perhaps I will also need a pool of thread workers for the filters.. I will be using jms and jdbc connection pools by the way..
Thank you in advance I will appreciate your help and advice.
Regards. Damian del Rivero
