I'm not sure why the mailing list removes all politeness from my
mails, I try to write a nice greeting in all of them. Perhaps you
prefer people getting straight to the point? Anyways, this mail is
somewhat related to my previous one, but much more simple and
describes something I think is essential to my the understanding of
MINA: strategies for posponing further processing while awaiting async
processes to finish.

In the proxy example, traffic is switched off using
IoSession.setTrafficMask, while awaiting proxyToServer connection to
complete. This is fairly straightforward. But If I have already
received a message (like in my previous mail), I must basically join
on the connection to be set up, effective locking the current thread.
I want to be able to use a strategy that allows me to hand over
control to MINA until I'm ready to process the rest of the already
received message.

Is this possible?
