1) is there any documentation on XEP-133
2) is there any JMX instrumentation in MINA that might be helpful in monitoring

I'm sorry, this is a topic which has not found much love, yet.

We have implemented the basics for XMPP Service Administration Exension 
(XEP-133), though.
