Dear all,
This is a hypothesis wich may not be correct:
When a Mina-based program sends a 4Mb message, with a debugger on
client (also Mina-based) (since decoder starts decoding a message
only when it is complete), we can observe a gradual increase in
message size: first time it receives a message with size 2KB, the next
time 4KB, 8KB and so on. At a certain point in time it stops doubling
the buffer size and increases not twice but a certain other value.
Receiveing of message size of 4MB takes approx 700 ms. and it takes
about 60 Mina messages.
Does this mean that Mina each time doubles the send or receive buffer?
Correct.
We set the buffer size to be 65535 at the program start.
It should work, and the buffer should not be 2kb at the beginning. If
it's the case, then it's a bug and a JIRA should be created.
Do you have a sample that demonstrate the problem ?
