Communication is on TCP. Despite of being so reliable, we are facing packet
loss issue. Any tips on how this issue can be debugged further.

If you server is sending the data to your clients, and if you can confirm
that with wireshark, then it's unlikely that the server is responsible for
the problem.

Now, what layer have you built your communication on ? Is it UDP ?

Hi,

We are using Mina 2.0.4 as a transaction engine with more than 3000 clients
spread across different locations and having different networks. For 1
complete transaction between the client and the server, on an average there
are 4-5 packet exchanges of size 300-500 Bytes. The issue I am facing is
that some of the data written by the server does not reaches the client
leading to incomplete transactions. On the wireshark log, I see multiple
retransmission attempts.

Could this be a possible issue at the server side?

Thanks,
Rajiv
