Hi Pablo,

we are currently discussing about a change in the version naming scheme.

MINA 3 was started 5 years ago, and the latest release (3.0.0-M2) was
done 4 years ago, and it was a milestone. To be clear, it was an
experiment that never went to its end.

In the mean time, 12 releases of MINA 2 has been done (from 2.0.8 to the
current and recent 2.0.19 - 5 weeks ago -). That is 4 releases a year,
on average.

Now, 2.0 is a maintenance branch. That means we are committed to fix any
bugs that is discovered (and I must tell that it's quite incredible that
after all those years, we still find bugs in the code base! Well, oh
well, we have great users that reports them, and they are better than
we, the developpers ;-)

That being said, if you are using MINA 2.0.x, migration should not be an
issue (except that in 2.0.8 we introduced a minor change in the API [1])

If you are using MINA 1.x, please feel free to ask any question you may
have...

Thaks !
