Hi,

Is it possible to create an end to end ipsec tunnel
when both ends are behind an off-the-shelf router like
linksys such that they both may have 10.0.1.2 as their
internal ip ?

This is becoming more and more common in today's
broadband access environment where I put a
router(wire/wireless) which connect to my ISP. The
router would get an external IP from the ISP that is
reachable by the world and my home machine(s) would
get a set of internal IP(typical 10.x or 192.168.x)
from the router's DHCP server and the router would
pass the ip stuff through using NAT.

However, I still want to have an secured ip connection
with my friends at the other end of the world. Is this
possible ?

I understand that if I put 2 linux box that serve as
both the NAT router as well as FreeS/WAN gateway, it
should be doable(don't know the detail though) but
what if I must use an off-the-shelf router(say a
wireless router like the orinoco or airport) ?

thanks for any pointer in advance.

ps. please cc if possible as I have subscribed to this list.
