Subject: Revised NAT-T XP patch (818043)

Microsoft appear to have rereleased this patch without formally announcing
it. The revision date of the article is the 5th August; and you can only
get the patch directly via Windows Update.

We are using a CISCO Pix, L2TP/IPSec and a pre-shared key for a VPDN
setup and we are still unable to get XP to work via a NAT setup at
the client end. [It works fine without this complication.] The 'Supported
Secnarios Using NAT-T' in the revised article imply that you have to have
a Windows 2003 server somewhere in the equation.

Has anyone else had any success with the revised patch?
