While trying to fix the multilevel cache problem, I discovered that there is a bug in the core, due to which the searchdir attribute does not have the desired effect (in particualr, seardir='source' does not work. I thought I'd mention it before people break up their systems to find out what is going on. The bug will be fixed in MMBase 1.5.2
