Due to a wrong version of the ClusterBuilder which was accidently included in MMBase-1.6.4, a new release has been made.
The wrong ClusterBuilder may cause rather confusing output of some queries regarding directionality.
If you're already using MMBase-1.6.4 please upgrade your mmbase.jar to the one included in MMBase-1.6.5.
MMBase is distributed in three different 'flavours', mmbase-src, mmbase-bin and mmbase-bin for jdk1.4. First is the source distribution, the second is the binary distribution for jdk-1.3.x users and the third is the binary distribution for jdk-1.4.x users. The last one is necessary because of rmi incompatibilities between jdk-1.3.x and jdk-1.4.x.
The binary distribution's target users are end-users and first-time users. It contains a working hsqldb database and applications (including builders) needed for the examples.
The source distribution's target users are developers who like to start building their own MMBase.
