Do you have anyway of varifying that the
request you are sending to tomcat is actually processed by tomcat?
Might be that your request is not processed by the servlet engine.

Just a guess

There is no stck trace as there is no error.
The jsp compiles well but as result there is a blank page.
Here is my configuration :
Apache/2.0.52 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.0.52 OpenSSL/0.9.7d PHP/5.0.2 mod_jk2/2.0.4


tc5.5.4 works with java1.4.2 on my machine.
I know there was such problems with proxies but I dont see the link.
