I used to gripe about this too, until I noticed some bugzilla mails threaded 
under some spam that somehow made it through all of my filters.

Besides all that, it's always the new people who do that, and you can't 
'warn them at the door', so good luck with it.

just a small thing that kind of bothers me about this list. Could you 
please refrain from using the reply button when posting new topics?
It screws up the thread view of my mail client and makes it hard to follow 
threads.
So if you start a new topic don't use repl. Simply start a new mail and 
copy the mailadress into the to field. This will create a toppost and not 
a reply post - not screwing up the thread view.
