Pat, Someone has opened a bug for you on this (http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-91). You should go ahead and get a JIRA accont and subscribe to that bug so you can follow along on the discussion as we fix it. Alternatively you can watch all bug updates on the myfaces dev list.
Anyways, I'm hoping to have a portion of the solution done tonight. The rest will probably be done Friday. Heath, would this eliminate the need for your company's custom component? Just curious. sean
