yyyy-MM-dd only gives the date without the dash in between (eg. 20050420). But 
what I need is 2005-04-20.
It seems the dash (or any other characters) are stripped. How can I keep 
everything on display?

<f:convertDateTime pattern="..."/> doesn't seem to work with inputCalendar, 
perhaps I also have <x:validateRegExpr ...> embedded so it couldn't parse the 
convertDateTime tag.
