The MyFaces community is growing rapidly (a good thing) but our JIRA
bug list has recently grown to over 100 bugs. We need your help in
analysis and patches for these outstanding issues.
Things you can do to help:
* First get a JIRA account. Its easy and necessary for all of the
options listed below *
1.) Look over the existing bug list. Find two or three that you would
like to see fixed and then vote for them. It doesn't take long and it
doesn't take long and it doesn't require extensive JSF knowledge.
This will help us prioritize the bug fixes (we'll start off with the
most "popular.")
2.) Provide comments on existing bugs. If a bug sounds suspicious try
to reproduce it on your machine. Add comments such as ("works for
me.... here's a simple code snippet") or something. I have already
discovered several older bugs that have been fixed but not closed. We
need help finding these.
3.) Provide patches. There are several open bugs with patches and we
are trying to get to them all but many others have no patches. Also,
the old CVS patches don't seem to be working so great. If there is an
existing patch, try applying it to your code and check the simple
webapps, etc. out to see if there are any problems. If there is no
patch, try writing one yourself.
