I will, as soon as shale is covered by gmane, I am in too many lists
already anyway....
I am on a tight schedule currently, but as soon as I am finished, I will
try to hack something like that for faces, I think the shale approach is
totally wrong, JSF already has way to many confusing frameworks you have
to hook in for simple things and way to many code artefacts to cover one
page, we dont really need another framework you have to hook in and
another bunch of artefacts to get that behavior.
Another question totally unrelated, I have developed a handful of
nice components in my last project, and if I can get the ok from the
management, I would be willing to dump them into the myfaces project.
(mainly components which handle client side validation by coloring the
text on a false input)
Is there a starting point where I can dump them to?

You should send you comments to the struts-dev list (use [shale] in
the subject heading.) That's really the most appropriate place to
discuss the merits of Shale-related matters.
I know the Shale team reads this list but its better to have a back
and forth and provide feedback on the appropriate list.
Generally we only bring up Shale on this list when a user is
requesting a solution that is available in Shale. Most people don't
know about Shale so we point them in the right direction.
