Can Jesse give us committer rights to this project? My sourceforge
name would be mmarinschek.

Martin

As I had the impression, that the discussion in the dev-list was not yet
definitive, I have not made big efforts to promote the sf-project.

So far I have
- installed a wiki to allow for easy project-website management
- added Martin to the memberlist

To make it easy to maintain and as we hope that most components will make it to
the
official myfaces component project ;-)
I propose that we do not make big infrastructure efforts.
- Every component should be contained within one jar-/zip-file and be described
  in the wiki-pages
- within the jar-/zip-file I think we could store these things
  - source-tree
  - a jar-file that can be dropped into WE-INF/lib containing everything
for each component (have a faces-config.xml in the META-INF directory for
    automatic configuration)
  - a readme.txt containing the necessary instructions
- all files are supposed to be under the Apache v2 license to make migration
  into the myfaces-project easy.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
So far my ideas... As I have no big sf-project-lead experience... feel free
to share your ideas.

I hope that with this setup we can create an active component developer group
for
JSF-components.

Alexander
