Ok, i understand the philosophy, but backing bean doesn't solve all problems 
with actual components. 
The solution should be to update existing components or to make new ones. 
But currently, althought i'd like to help you, i can't spend my time on this 
job. I hope to be available soon for that.

since JSF trys to avoid you from scripting,

there is no sence to use something like:

<h:commandButton action="<%= bla %>" />

use backing beans (one per page). 
that is a better handling.
