Should MyFaces start a new taglib section for visual effects with use a
taglib prefix of "e:" (or "d" for "dhtml effects")? That way, the base tags
stay simple, the extensions extend tag functionality while remaining simple
yet functional, the visual effects become optional whiz-bang web browser
features, and any ajax-communicating components fill in a 4th library for
those interested in components of that nature.

Any opinions on this proposal?
s, it sort of becomes
a replacement buzzword for dhtml components.
So it is better to call the whole thing ajax instead of dhtml whatever.

Actually a good idea, but as long as I am sort of a lone coder on this stuff I am not sure, if the effort really is needed.

First of all, the components currently dumped into sourceforge basically
are components which are developed for my current in house project.
Which means as soon as I have to work on other stuff, the dev cycle on those components will slow down significantly (after all I have a private live as well).
Secondly, there is currently nobody else on sourceforge doing anything,
third nothing of that code has made it into myfaces yet.

So I think it is to early to do something like that.
What I could do from my side is, to change the package structure
of my stuff that way, that there is a clear distinctionn between pure visuals and ajax and also make distinctive taglib tlds which differntiate between ajax and pure viusals.
