Just put my foot where my mouth is, I just dumped
a datamodel for generic orm systems which utilizes
page caching into the sandbox for others to use and improve.
See my other mailmessage regarding it.
That one can be easily adapted towards hibernate.

My guess is, we could need a best practices/blueprint codebase for such
cases,
my idea is, to have various preimplemented datamodels, which utilize the
most popular frameworks by using different resource management
techniques (Page preloading by caching, Servlet interceptors, Spring,
PhaseChangeListeners ...)
This would be a perfect usage for the Wiki and Sourceforge, also maybe
for Shale (Craig are you reading) :-)

One of the reasons I oopened up that project ;-)
Hopefully I will have some more time now that another personal aspect does
not need so much time anymore.
I am also thinking about a datamodel that contains some metadata in order to
be able to render a datatable with flexible numbers of rows per record or
different row/column layouts...

Also the Oracle guys could donate such a best practice for their ORM
mapper :-D

Hopefully we find also some hibernators...
