No specific reason.  Just there are only so many hours in the day and
only so many things we can do in our spare time.  Also, I don't think
any of the committers on MyFaces live on the west coast (only a few
live in the U.S.)

I don't know where Craig finds the time to do all of those
presentations.  He is an unstoppable machine.  I just consider myself
grateful he is able to be helping people in so many places at once. 
It is unfair to compare us to him.  ;-)
