Don't bother building from the source if last night's build isn't
working.  Do you have the extensions filter hooked up?  This sounds
like a case of that.  See myfaces.apache.org for more info.

ps. You don't *need* the extensions filter in the case of tree2 but
there is extra JSF configuration necessary to get around it.
