inputCalendar and addResources

As far as I can see inputCalendar requires to set addResources=true to 
get the scripts rendered into the html page.

Wouldnt it be better to have it - like other components - automatically 
added to the page ONCE (request attribute) and allow addResources=false 
to supress this behaviour?
