This is a good article. I don't mind criticism of JSF (or MyFaces) from people who have taken the time to seriously explore it. Its hard to dimiss a new technology unless you have given it a serious try.
These guys have used JSF for an application and *then* reached their final conclusions. For the most part, their criticisms of the spec and MyFaces are spot on.
