I have deployed the myfaces example simple.war to a tomcat5.5.9 After starting the container and going to http://localhost:8080/simple with different browsers i got different results. With opera8.1 all is displayed as it should. But with IE6.0 i see the crosses like you. It seems that the javascript is not portabel between browsers. Ciao, Carsten Höhne
