AFAIK there are no current issues with Tree2 and Tomahawk. If you find any, please report in JIRA (Use "Tomahawk (RI Compatibility)" when selecting the component type.) Its our goal to make Tomahawk 100% compatible with the RI.
I can't see any reason why the server-side version wouldn't work at a minimum. Have you tried it? sean ps.
