Yes,
unlike dataTable, panelGrid does not have the concept of column headers.
If you use panelGrid and want something that looks like column headers, you'll
have to just make sure that the cells in your first row have styles that make
them look like headers. So, in your case, it sounds like you don't even
need a <f:facet name="header">, since you really want the equivalent of
column headers (not one header for the entire table).

Well, thanks to both you and Bruno. Unfortunately wrapping everything under the facet w/ a panelGroup means my headings are not aligned w/ the content cells. I'll probably just use CSS for this. Thanks again.
