yes you can now define an actionlistener for the datascroller to get
notified about the scroller event. You will get an instance of
org.apache.myfaces.custom.datascroller.ScrollerActionEvent for the
actionevent parameter.

Have you solved your problem? It seams to be that you have old
versions of faces-config.xml or myfaces jars hanging around.
