Also, you can change components to add JS & CSS inline instead of to the head. There's a method in AddResource for that, and I think it'll work just fine. However, I think that for valid HTML you may only be allowed to put them in <head> Louis Burroughs wrote:
The AddResource class parses the html to add tags in the head. I am assuming that because the head is rendered outside of the portlet (it belongs to the entire page), that it is not in to the resource stream the AddResource class is using. I will be spending at least some of my Christmas break reading up on this and if it is possible to create an AddPortletResource that has access to the html wrapping my portlet, so I can insert text into the head. I'm noticing that it is not placing it between the <head> tags in the rendered html. The script tags on the otherhand will fail url encoding, which means that I will have to write a <x:script> component (unless one already exists) Louis M. I don't know of any of the MyFaces committers being involved with portals, so I really don't know about a timetable, sorry. regards, Martin On 12/22/05, CD <[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>> wrote: > D'oh!
