Actually Andrew, JSR220 persistence just went into the final draft 
shortly before christmas, so you can expect that things wont change that 
much anymore. You already can see implementations popping up left and 
right (there are at least 4 I know of)
How much the current JBoss implementation conforms to the Specs I do not 
know, but I expect it to be not too far off.
