Hi,

Have you configured file upload and portlet?

I like to configure to. I am not using faces because of this limitation.

May be I was doing something wrong.
Will investigate on this

(used "only" Pluto 1.0.1)

Sorry, I haven't tried it yet. I needed to know if it worked before I
invested the time into it (we have a release next week).

Based on your response and the initial response I don't think I will try
it out.

Dean,

is the patch working for you?
I just did a simple test (for uploading), but unfortunatly it doesn't work.
"normal" MyFaces stuff works fine inside of the portlet ;)

Any updates from your side?

I have applied the patches. See if they help.

Yes,

MyFaces' upload *can* cause problems in a portlet container.
This topic has already been addressed inside of our Jira issue tracker.
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-758

Perhaps Stan could clearify this?

Has anyone tried to use the MyFaces file upload in a Portlet? I know
that the Struts file upload doesn't work in a Portlet, but this is
probably due to it using Servlet Filters to handle the
multipart/form-data. If MyFaces doesn't rely on Servlet filters for
file upload it may work in a Portlet.

Thanks.
